Lisa
Facilitator-in-Training

Lisa’s journey is one of remarkable transformation, rooted in a lifelong struggle with disordered eating and body image issues that first took hold when she was 17. After nearly 35 years of trying to end her suffering, Lisa finally found herself on an unexpected yet deeply profound path.

For much of her life, Lisa sought healing through a wide range of approaches. In 2020, she became an advanced meditator, following the teachings of Dr. Joe Dispenza, but despite her commitment, the results were disheartening. Lisa felt as though her trauma and deeply ingrained patterns of disordered eating remained unresolved, leaving her with a sense of failure. It wasn’t until a fateful encounter with a trusted psychic advisor that a new path opened before her. This advisor relayed a powerful message from her spiritual guides: Lisa was invited to connect with plant medicine.

In early 2022, Lisa attended her first plant medicine ceremony, a life-changing experience. During the ceremony, she underwent a massive somatic release of traumatic energy that had been locked within her since she was 11 years old. In just a few hours, this energetic burden was released, allowing Lisa to feel fully present in her physical body for the first time in over 25 years. The shift was immediate—food tasted better, time seemed to slow down, and the destructive behavioral patterns she had fought for so long began to dissolve. In their place emerged a deep sense of compassion and understanding for herself, creativity, a joy for cooking and a profound sense of presence.

This incredible breakthrough ignited Lisa’s passion for energy work. She became a Kundalini Practitioner and a Yoga Informed Addiction Recovery Coach, studying under renowned teacher Tommy Rosen. Over the past two years, she has continued to work with plant medicines to further her healing from the traumas of sexual abuse and emotional wounds from her childhood.

Lisa’s path of healing has also led her to Mexico, where she has had the privilege of sitting with elders to learn more about these sacred medicines and the ancient ways. Now in training to become a guardian of these plant healing traditions, Lisa is passionate about teaching others how to heal themselves with use of these sacred plants while at the same time connecting them to their inner gurus—the innate wisdom within each of us. Through her own wisdom of healing, Lisa seeks to empower others to break free from these patterns, programming and lifelong suffering.
